Porthleven Town Council’s Neighbourhood Plan team is a group of volunteers from the local community who are working to develop the area’s Neighbourhood Plan.
THE BRIEF
A Neighbourhood Plan considers the needs and wants of the local community regarding future development and consultation and engagement with that community is vital. I was employed as a Communication and Engagement Consultant to design and deliver the Plan’s second survey to every household in Porthleven.
THE RESULTS
Within the consultation period I arranged two local face-to-face update meetings for the community to ask questions about the plan. I also set up a Survey Monkey for online feedback.
Alongside this I designed and delivered a communications plan that included producing all printed and online publicity materials needed for the consultation process, as well as local PR.
Over 100 people attended the two events and 380 people responded to the detailed second survey.
